Description

The genus of cacti founded Mexico to Guatemala. Their is 4 known species that grow tree-like plants that branch with (4-8) prominent ribs. The largest plants in this genus grows to about 5 metres tall. Matured plants flowers in summer will have greenish white flowers will produce blue berries which are eaten as a snack in Mexico.

Semi hardy plants which can tolerate light frost. Well-drained soil and watering allow to dry out.
