Native to an African origin, Kenya. It spreads by overground shoots, small clumping succulent that form large compact clumps with time. The stem is short, thick, light green, tuberculate freely branching from the base or from underground suckers. Leaves can be light green deciduous and fleshy and can take on a purple hue if given on enough light. The roots are thickened fleshy, and tuberose. Flowers are hot pink cyathium in color.
