Description

GYMNOCALYCIUM SPECIES 

Commonly called chin cactus, about 70 species. Native to Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Southern Bolivia, and Brazil. Most are small, globose, solitary plants with ribs that are often only somewhat tuberculate. Easy flowering habits with bright colors. Light requires semi-shade to filtered sun. Cactus mix and well drain soil. Water in the summer months not in winter months is unwise.
