Small succulent plant with attractive leaf colors that clumps. rough surface on the top of the leaves. The leaves are white and green to light green colors along with its hard-plastic appearance makes it looks very unusual. The roots are thick with little branching. Watering regularly in summer, less in winter.

GASTERIA SPECIES 

Native to Southern Africa, related to the Aloes.

Stemless plants, thick leaves, different shapes, patterns and colors though some spiral with age. Varies in sizes.

Summer growers, best to grow in light shade to shade, well-drained soil. Water regularly in the growing season but let it dry out between watering. Winter months mostly dry. Tolerate light frost.
